The Walmart beauty box is exposing consumers to easily accessible and affordable brands. The Winter Box is the second quarterly box from Walmart and it promised to be packed with products to get us through the coldest season of the year. There was a glitch with the Walmart Beauty Box site and at one time it looked like I had ordered 7 boxes. Thankfully my card was only charged for one $5.00 box and I only received one box. It was actually delivered today, one has to love Sunday mail delivery during the holidays.

Walmart’s box variations are sent out according to your age. I am 32 so I receive boxes that are geared towards ladies in their 30’s. So if you are older or younger than me, you may not receive the same box that I got. All of the boxes are filled with decent sized samples and foil packets. “With apologies to Scrooge, we find it hard to feel anything but buoyant this time of year. There’s the anticipation of a pile of brightly wrapped presents, the glow of a family gathering, and of course the fizz of excitement before a big soiree.”

I love this time of year. Everyone is a little kinder to one another and the element of surprise is constantly hanging in the air. I have a pile of carefully wrapped presents under and around my tree, I cannot wait for my family to open them. On Saturday the boyfriend and I had our very first early Christmas, there is nothing like new love to make the holidays bright. He definitely put the sparkle in my holiday with a gorgeous necklace and matching earrings. I am one lucky girl.

My Birchbox was definitely a surprise this month as I did not get my sample choice item. My choice was not recorded on their website, however a few calls and a bunch of emails later the Manna Kadar Lip Stain was sent out separately from my box. I tried it this morning and I love the color and the texture, the stain is more gloss like than stain. I loved it and will be ordering the full-sized version soon. Now on to my actual December box.
